The Rodrigue Steinway to be officially unveiled at LSU's Homecoming Celebration in Baton Rouge on November 10th.
Join the LSU School of Music in announcing the Rodrigue Steinway initiative at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center at 4:00 before the LSU vs. Mississippi State football game.

George Rodrigue first visited the 1913 Model A Steinway Grand Piano in spring 2012. Hall Piano Company then began cabinet restoration on the Rodrigue Steinway and primed it for painting by George Rodrigue. Rodrigue finished painting the Steinway Piano in May and then the piano was clear coated.
During the summer of 2012, Hall Piano Company installed all of the new Steinway instrument parts. Click below to see more images of the restoration and see the assembly of the Rodrigue Steinway.
