George Rodrigue first visited the 1913 Model A Steinway Grand Piano in spring 2012.  Hall Piano Company then began cabinet restoration on the Rodrigue Steinway and primed it for painting by George Rodrigue.  Rodrigue finished painting the Steinway Piano in May and the piano was then clear coated. 

During the summer of 2012, Hall Piano Company installed all of the new Steinway instrument parts.  The "Blue Dog Piano" was completed in early fall 2012.
